My 9 yr old son and I read through the consumer reviews of 7 different electric scooters. After careful consideration, we opted for the E200. Box arrived at our front door in Hawaii within 2 days! Easy to set up, we plugged in the battery charger and left it over night. Next day we went to our local park and I let my son loose on the basketball court. This scooter is really fast. I put a baseball radar gun to clock his speed and his best was 13 mph. 13 mph for a 9 yr old riding a scooter is fast in my opinion.
After 34 charges, it still retains a decent charge. This past weekend he got 48 minutes of continuous riding time on a flat surface. Going uphill as well as rider weight will be a factor in determining riding time. The factory manual states the battery life to be approx 250 charges. You need to pay close attention to tire pressure and chain tension. After a month and a half of ownership, I am pleased with the E200.

I ordered this for my sons Birthday, it arrived a day later than it was supposed to, and I was never told why. When we received it the box had a hole in it and you could see the Razor was damaged, so we emailed them and sent it back. They sent another one out immediatley which was nice, but when that one came and we opened it, we found a noticeable scuff on it. We kept it anyway after all the hassle, but it seems that the shipping is a problem. Other than the shipping problems/damages, my son and daughter love the scooter.
Great scooter...my grand daughter just loves it ! It lives up to all of it's claims. I also bought my grandson the R100 and it did not work out to well. Where as the R2oo has a variable throttle and can take off from standing still, the R 100 must be pushed until it hits a certain speed and then takes off like a rocket. This was to scary for my 6 yr. old grandson...so he will not ride the R100. He will however ride the R200 my grand daughter has, as he can start off slow and better control the speed.
This product both my daughters 9 & 10 received for Christmas & they love it. When my son wants to go to a friends house he'll often ask if he can borrow one. They use it a lot. It is charging all the time as well but it seems to go a fair amount of time before charging again. I'm glad we went with the 200. It is not at all too much pep for them to handle & yet gets them back up the hill. I'm hoping by going with the 200 that they do not grow out of it. My husband has rode it also but it can't get us up the hill. Its fine on flat though. Good value !
I bought this for my oldest daughter for Christmas 2 years ago.
The biggest complaint she has about it two years later is the time it takes for it to recharge and the loss of power as the charge runs down.
We have not have a single problem out of the scooter and it even can double our oldest, now 13, and our youngest, now 7, with no problem.
The tires were a concern when we bought it from some of the reviews, but we have had no issues with them other than having to reinflate them once in while, like you would have to for a bicycle or car. For battery life and scooter maintainance, I would follow the recommendations in the manual and keep it inside in colder weather. We live where is is usually hot, but still store it inside the house to keep the cooler winter air from compromising the scooter.

Two years later, it is still a hit with the kids and they are on it a lot.(Read: Very frequently, except in the summer when it is 100+ degrees!)
